I was a good little book hoarder last month. I only went book hunting once…..mostly because we’ve been busy but I still count it as a win and marked improvement in my self control.

This haul would not have been so big had there not been such an amazing collection of books in the Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan. The prequel, books #2-5 and #7-10. Since I already have the first book that means I’m only missing #6 and the later books. It was bit extreme for me to buy so many when I haven’t read the first one, but I figured the cost (only $1 each) was worth it when compared to trying to track them down individually.

Next was Empire of Ivory by Noami Novik (Temeraire #4) because the first book was so awesome. And The Dragons of Kyrnn edited by Weis & Hickman because Dragonlance.

Lastly, I picked up a couple of Dinotopia books. I fell in love with the concept as a child and loved the miniseries in all it’s corny glory. So I decided I should try and track down the books and figured I should start with what I can find. River Quest and Hatching, neither are the first book in the series.
