Oathbringer by Brandon Sanderson (Stormlight Archive #3) got it’s cover Mar.16.2017, click here for the announcement. It’s expected publication date is Nov.14.2017.
I have yet to read either of the first two books yet, but my plan is to correct that before this comes out. I do have to say that the cover has me way more hyped than I thought I would be right now.

Blade of Empire by Mercedes Lackey & James Mallory (Dragon Prophecy #2) has a tentative release date now of Oct.24.2017. I managed to find both the Goodreads and Amazon listing which both have that date listed.
The trilogy is set before and in the same universe as the Obsidian and Phoenix trilogies. The first book, Crown of Vengeance, was published in 2012 so we’ve only been waiting 5 years. And I’ve refused to read it until we get a release date for this book….which we have!

Provenance by Ann Leckie (Imperial Radch Universe #1) is set for release on Oct.3.2017. Title, cover, and date were all announced on Mar.28.2017. This is a new series (actual name TBA) set in the same universe as Ms. Leckie’s Imperial Radch trilogy.
I’m not at all surprised for more in this world after the success she’s had. I enjoyed it enormously and feel there is a lot that could be written about both in continuation or before the events of the trilogy.
